I need one for 125sm.
ive read on some forum that Acerbis used to make one for skorpion,
does anyone know if its the same size as SM's?

the diameter of the SM cap is roughly 5 cm, or just under 2inches.

Hi,
the fuel cap of the Skorpion is very different to the others like the ones of Baghira or the 125. I don't think that your SM has a "built-in" cap, flushed with the tank surface?!
I had very bad experience with the lockable Acerbis cap and other drivers too. Water could get through the lock and causes problems in the carbs!

no the cap is not flush. its much like regular dirt/dual purpose bikes.
the stock cap is actually labeled Acerbis, but when i contacted them inquired about caps for MZ, the responce they dont make those Confused

anyway thanks for saving me the trouble of ordering the skorp caps.
do sm riders in germany bother getting loackable caps or just use stock in the cities?

Never had any problems with bad guys throwing sand or something else into the tank Wink
The bike is standing in front of my door 350 days a year and that's for 4,5 years now. No garage and nearly in the city center.
The problems WITH the lockable fuel cap were worse.

my bike will be in the schools parking lot alot :/
although possible, i dont really expect anyone dropping a sugar cube in or whatever, but some lame / bored kids tend to remove things that they can.
and i'd prefer to avoid having to buy new tank caps every week Smile

i duno maybe i'll just puit a bike cover on it for the really long clas days

I keep my bike in front of my school as well. I always cover it to keep the kids off of it.

Acerbis make a lockable cap for the fuel tank as they also make the fuel tank.

I also need a locking cap to my Mastiff. I found several different caps on the Acerbis homepage, but I have no clue if they will fit my tank. They only have gas tanks for BMW, Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, Kawazaki and KTM. Which tank is used in the Baghira and the Mastiff? Can I go to any Yamaha or KTM dealer and buy the cap?
