Keith yer an animal !
On the subject of rear suspension linkage - I used to wip mine aparts every 3 months and re-grease (never did get round to fitting some grease nipples) but even so it still had a little wear on it.
By the way Daves one has just started to puff out blue smoke, I think he is looking around for a new piston as well (He was round Ray's shop Saturday morning) we worked out that Daves has done about 15000 Miles, but if you have ridden with Dave you will know that he uses it HARD.
I wonder what my 660 engine is gonna be like when I get her started (50000 miles - gulp !) |

If Dave contact me I have a contact number for a guy that sells low milage pistons from bikes he modifies for racing. He had one on E-bay last week for I think £5.99. He also keeps new piston rings.
He offered me the following service.
To fit new sleeve to barrell and hone it to mate with good secondhand piston - £90
Thats dam cheap I reckon, but after talking to the guy he really seems to know what hes talking about. He can also supply big bore kits to 105mm , rebuild cranks and gasflow heads. He also carries out carb tuning and mods as well.
