Hi all. I'm a new member here and recently purchased a 2001 Baghira. Love it, lots of fun. My question is concerning what I think is a problem. Whenever I turn on the fuel petcock I see fuel flowing for a few seconds. (there is a clear in-line filter) This can be after the bike sits overnight or after a couple hours. After sitting overnight the bike will not start until I open the petcock. I'm suspecting a needle & seat issue or a float that is out of adjustment. I'm not afraid to work on the carb but would like to confirm that this is a problem and know if I should aquire some parts before digging in. Any help greatly appreciated. _________________ 2001 Baghira

yep, sounds like float/needle-seat problem would be a logical deduction. If you have no idle loading or plug fouling, the leak by is very slight and you might cure it (if cleaning is the required action) by running hi grade fuel and some carb clean through a couple tanks.
