|

Hey, all you riders with 17" rims. My lenghty search for all weather and all terrain tires (75% paved), has led me to avon distanzias. Does anyone have experience with these, or have a good recommendation for a different tire? Thanks,
Kevin |

I am on my third Avon Distanza rear. Never tried them on the front, I used an Avon Por-extreme Rain on the front. A really good combination, both on tarmac and drier green laning.
I get 3-3500 miles out of the rear and about 7-7500 out of the rain tyre on teh front.

Mine has the Metzler Tourance. Too soon to tell on this bike, but I had some on a BMW GS and thought they were first rate on wet, dry, and in terms of wear. _________________ Motorcycling used to be my second favorite thing, but now that I've become an old man, it's moved up a notch. |

5000-6000km on my distanzias and I will get the same next time. I dont ride too aggressive on pavement so I cant comment on high-perf characterisics but they are better than the orig. corsas off-road. |
