Just curious, but has anybody out there ever heard of or indeed fitted a TRX / TDM twin into an MZ Baggy chassis ? _________________ HR Black Panther |

I've not heard or seen of one, but using armchair engineering, it should be possible - but very difficult!!
As far as I understand, the mounting points on all the Yamaha engines are in the same place, however, there is the point that the TDM has its oil inside the engine, whereas the Baggy has an oil framed engine.
Would be interested to know an answer!

I own both a mastiff and a TDM850 and I see very little reason to do the swap. But that said I can tell you that the engine mounting points are very different and i highly doubt the TDM engione would fit in without opening up the cradle a bunch.
The TDM is also a dry-sump engine so that is not a problem as well. |
