Hi All,

Been looking on this forum for a while now and finally took the time to become a member- it wasnt painful- I should of done it ages ago!

Anyway hope I can be of use- great hearing of others enjoying Mz's and p!$$!ng off the big boys on the twistys !

I would have to say I cant beleive i havent heard of anyone else with steering head bearing problems (doesnt anyone do bad wheelies or go off road a bit!?)

Mine had handling problems when I got it (7k miles, bog standard and like new!) front wheel would tuck in the dry with nice road tyres and just never felt 'right'!

I checked eveything including alignment, swing arm, forks and bearings.

It wasnt until I removed front end and checked the nasty ball bearing things that I realised they were knackered!

What a transformation! 16k miles now, one of Bernd's (tunebike.de) carb kits and header pipes with slightly adapted M4 endcan and lovin it!

Would be real interested in a taper roller head bearing conversion if any one knows of an option?
