when you find out what it's number is
find some one that junks old cars and have them save you
a couple used ones from a car made in the 60's or 70's.....
They were better made and if they lasted this long they may
last for many more years
big and little singles are hard on tail lamps
and i have had good luck recycleing the old bulbs
if it says china on it its not an old bulb _________________ Dave 2002 MZ RT125+95 Saxon Tour in WV USA "I like the road less traveled if it's PAVED!."

Wow David that is a cool idea.
I have the same problem. I don't mind replacing the bulbs I just worry that the thing will go out in the middle of a ride and I will be invisibal from behind and not even know it. I think I found the solution I just ordered some extra LED running lights for the rear. At least they will be lit if the 1157 running light goes out _________________ 01 Sport Cup

sell the whole tail lamp sets from the old ones that are still good
on ebay as well as grill parts but he says too much hassel

I put LED taillights from LEDtronics in my old Triumph. A bit expensive, but worth it for peace of mind. _________________ Relax. You'll live longer. |
