Anyone riding to North Carolina this June (15-17) to attend the Horizons Unlimited meet? I'll be riding down with a group from Ohio. So far as I can tell, I'll have the only MZ there. None showed up last year either. See link below if you're interested.

I have an MZ Tour but probably won't make the trip. But I was wondering how you liked your new Traveller! I saw it on Ebay and almost got it except for that last minute bid. Thought it was a beautiful example. I was really curious to know how that fairing worked on that model. I have a small deflector screen on mine but its really like no windscreen at all. |

I like the Traveler, Not too sure about the wind screen yet. I think it could be a bit taller.
I thought it was a beautiful example as well. But when I got it home I found out that it needed a whole lot of sorting out. Just small stuff, but a lot of it. I've put almost 700 miles on it and I'm beginning to get it to run correctly. The first mileage check gave me 41 mpg. Just today I checked it at 50.7mpg, so things are looking better.
Sorry to have sniped you at the end of the auction, but I just HAD to have it. Sorry you won't make the NC event. Where are you located?

I am located in Atlanta, I bought my Tour model new in 1996 and it runs really well with no problems. I tried an M4 exhaust once but the cop who stopped me said it was a bit loud. I think I am reay to sell that.
I would try to go to North Carolina that weekend but unfortunately I am scheduled to work that weekend. |

I know what you mean by "LOUD". After my first ride, I swapped the Super Trapp for the stock exhaust (thank God it was included). I might experiment with the other one later. How many miles are on your Tour? |

I have 10,000 miles on it now. I have a Sargeant seat which helped me with those miles. What kind of seat was on yours? |
