Yes, RI is the dot between Massachusetts and Conneticutt. Recently purchased a '04 Baghira Black Panther. Seems like many on this forum have purchased from Joe at Throttle Up Inc. Like the bike so far. It is just a little different from the '03 VTX 1800 I also have. Have had 3 DR650, DRZ 400, KLR 650, XR650L, and the Panther is the best so far and I really like the supermoto attitude and handling.
May have to ask for some accessory help soon. Thanks |

welcome to the forum Islander
wow, from a VTX to a panther.....I bet the MZ feels downright telepathic compared to that thing.
funny story tho....when the VTXs came out I was working at a honda dealer, and took the 1st one we got out on the road for a quick test ride (you know, to make sure it works right ) anyway, once I was out of earshot of the shop, I laid into it....and thought I had blown it up when it hit the rev limiter at 4700rpm....talk about your oh shit moments....later I did some math and figured out that a VTX at 4700rpm has about the same piston speed as a cbr929 at 10,000! I guess there are disadvantages to having 900cc cylinders _________________ Hella Yella, coming ta getcha! |

The one that I had was bone stock. Power wise, it was good out of the hole, pulled hard, but it was light in the front early. Had more vibration than the MZ. The XL was definitely set up more for off road that any of the other bikes. _________________ 2004 MZ Baghira Black Panther
