hi,
i'm looking to ride mi mastiff ALL road ( i know its nog ideal) butt, what tires are good on road an bit of offroad, fore the rear one i found some tires bus the front one i can not find. accept fore the rain tires some people use, are they anny good on terain?? i don't want to buy bigger front wheel. |

I liked the MT60's, also the Distanza's work pretty good. rain tires do work well, and you can usually find some race take-offs real cheap. ask around at your local shop! _________________ 2001 MZ Black Panther

I use a Distanza rear and an Avon Pro extreme rain on the front. Get 3-3500 on the rear and 6-7000 out of the front. This comination seems to work well with good dry and wet weather grip on the road and off road is not to bad either. Used to use MT60's but found the rear wore out very quickley and the grip was not quite as good as the tyres I currently use.
Most modern sports bike tyres will work OK, remember motard racers very often use cut slicks when racing and part of the circuit is normally off road.
