|
|
While working on my sons 125 SM today, I had to take the rear caliper apart as it was all siezed up. Also looked at the seals. They looked a bit rough, so I removed them and thought they looked familiar. I work on Goldwings quite a lot and checked against some seals I had in stock discovered the seals are the same as those fitted to one of the Goldwing 1500 front calipers.
Got to be easier than waiting for MZ
Honda part number 06451-GE2-405.
This part number give a dust seal and hydrulic seal, so 2 sets needed for the caliper.
With a bit of luck this may help some of teh posters here.

if this works on the rear on sm it should work on the other
125cc bikes on the rear
i am now checking mz parts books to see if front seal numbers
are same as rear numbers
the rear pads are ebc fa197 or kawasaki 43082-1238
my bike is hard on these pads check them often
and i am not a fan of using the rear brakes too much or hard
and i do in a set in 4000 miles (6437km) _________________ Dave 2002 MZ RT125+95 Saxon Tour in WV USA "I like the road less traveled if it's PAVED!."
