Hi guys,

I've got a small oil leak from the engine casing (left hand side)
It's coming out from the screw indicated. (screw is fully tightened)

It only leaks when the engine is running, is also also quite slow (for now at least)

Any ideas what it is?
whether it is serious?
How to fix it?

Bike is 660 BP, almost 2 years old (approaching end of warrenty) and has only done about 6000 miles

Cheers

This screw is removed along with the large centre one for checking vavle timing when adjusting valves etc. It is sealed with a small `O' ring, maybe this o ring is missing ir damaged.

if oil is coming from there and new o ring does not cure problem
check how the engine crankcase breather works and it is not shut off or clogged

one of the fellows with the 500cc rotax motor (saxon tour)had oil coming out of his clutch cable end at the lever and he found the breather tube from engine to air box got pinched off when a air filter was installed
