A couple of months back I wrote off my 2002 Mastiff (Cat D .....bolt on bits only required) - it's a long story especially as I have no first hand knowledge of what happened, just woke up in hospital pretty badly hurt (but in many ways lucky!!!):
.....more here: http://www.sv1000.zyns.com/forums/showthread.php?p=356792#post356792
(The photos are not for the squeemish but meccano fans will love it)

So, after a month in hospital and a month into recovering at home (and having made who knows how many phone calls chasing bloody insurance company for facts and figures!) I need some help sourcing parts. If I can get enough good second hand parts, decent prices on new and aftermarket bits (e.g. sourced in Germany or USA) it'll be viable for me to buy the 'wreck'/salvage back from the insurance company. What's needed:

Front mudguard
Front brake lever
Polisport hand guards (standard items?)
Rear brake foot lever
Left radiator
Foot pegs left and right
Left hand front /tank plastic/fairing
Right hand engine crankcase/clutch cover
One front indicator assembly inc lens

Doesn't sound like a write off yet does it..........well for insurance purposes add in scuffed right lower fork, scuffed seat and scuffed exhaust can plus the fact that whatever MZ dealer they referred to said that NONE of the parts are available in the UK and hey presto!!!

I'll be asking BSA Regal to price up new parts but I have a feeling that the balance of the funds from insurance will be well short of the figure needed (for starters lost £250 on the XS!) but mean time please will you guys post details of any parts you may have and let me know details of aftermarket and parts from other bikes that will fit.

Many thanks
