Original battery finally given up the ghost, went flat a couple of weeks ago and bought an Optimate to try and revive it. Optimate says it's okay now, but won't turn the bike over. Crying or Very sad

So what's the recommendations for best battery for a Black Panther?

Regards Dave.

Wonky-The ytx12bs has the polarity reversed (positive left post instead of right). How did you get around that? Confused Thanks

Hi folks,

I use and swear by the Hawker SBS8

http://www.dmstech.co.uk/hawker.htm
http://www.enersysreservepower.com/
also known as Odyssey PC310
the top of the list here:
http://www.odysseyfactory.com/specs.htm

Absolutely no problems ever, even with cams without deco.
Smaller and slightly lighter as well, charges and recycles very fast and never needs to be looked after.

Merry Christmas

Dave my battery is a Rob Hunter battery! I generally put a new one in every 12 months anyway. Was only about £20. Chuck it in and all is well.
Happy days...
