I have a 4 piston Brembo racing caliper I'd love to use on my BP.

Checked out www.moto-master.com

MotoMaster has a SM301 brake caliper adapter bracket - the same number fits on all late 90's KTM and Husabergs... bikes which happen to be fitted with the Marzocchi 45mm Magnum forks.

Marzocchi 45mm Magnum forks look like, and may be, the same exact fork fitted to our Baghiras.

So it may be possible to fit a different brake caliper to our BP or SM's simply by buying one of these brackets. (Heck we may not even need the bracket.. depends on whether our Grimeca calipers are odd sized or standard.)

Woo hoo!!!! Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

um.... does anyone know for certain if Baghira/BP/SM forks are Marzocchis?

I thought they were Paioli, but those adjusters sure do look right.

Yes, the Baghira forks are Marzocchis 45mm Magnum.

Wow... it's so wierd that they use two diff Italian fork factories, but it's cool by me. I have the regular height ones thus Marzocchis it is... same as used on late 90's KTM and Husabergs.

I just read on the front brake pad thread that the disk rotors interchange with R1/R6 so I am going to be looking hard for a pair of wave rotors. I have a feeling someone will take the second one off my hands if I have to buy two.

Gonna stop by Motostrano (the supermoto experts in San Mateo CA) and see if a MotoMaster caliper adapter exists that will allow me to fit a Brembo goldline caliper onto my MZ. That may be overkill but it should also be less unsprung weight.
