Is the Skorpion single carb conversion offered by Bikeworx possible on a Baghira? Has anyone done this?

I worked for one of the U.S. Mikuni distributors and could have gotten a carb for next to nothing and I think I asked Galen from Bikeworx about my mastiff and he said it would not fit. The frame would be in the way, but don't trust if I am rembering correctly.
