Hi,
My front brake light does not work, it is most orobably about the switch since the light works with the rear brake pedal. Where is the switch for front brake light?
thx

It's screwed into the bottom part of the master cylinder casting underneath. It's just a mechanical switch I think.

if the problem is a worn swith...u can tear the switch apart...and modify it instead of getting a new one(it's not cheap here where i live)...
it comprises of a spring, plastic rod(something like a ball pen tube)with a metal piece in the middle to touch a metal clip inside....

Check the switch...clean it if there's dirt...but if the problem doesn't go away u can try this....

u can use a ball pen ink tube, wrap a metal plate around the middle...put the whole thing in....adjust to you liking by cutting the tube shorter....WARNING...if u cut too short...u'll have to start all over again...

If this is true then are there some BMWs that use the same levers and perches as the MZ?
