spring blues vent

argh!!..

a week of perfect sunshine..
roads littered with all kinds of motorcycles;
cruisers, sport bikes, choppers, scooters,
(no SM's on Staten Island though).

i watch them all as i drive by, with partial envy/partial admiration and ambition, looking forward to be done with school work and other obligations, and finally pul my 125 for a ride.

for then, the only release i had each morning, was starting the bike in the 'Chicken shed' (semi-long/semi-amusing story), get baked off the fumes, humm along to the thumping, only to then shut off the engine and walk out, to go take care of days affairs.

alas, the day comes when first exams are dealt with, girlfriend is preoccupied with chores of her own, and what do i get?!
slimy, wet, drizzling, cold weather for the rest of the whole week.

I feel your pain!!! Been sick for a couple weeks, mostly sunny skies, I get better and the rain returns
