I have a '95 Skorpion Tour, and I've been pondering the possibilities of repainting the plastic bits for a more personalized look. I haven't quite decided what I want to do, but was wondering if anyone had any experience repainting these things, or advice as to what materials/processes work best...

check with a local pro paint seller for details
and some of the pannels may have a code that tells what plastic it is made from
krylon also makes a paint for plastic parts
and loctite makes a patch material under one of there brand names

they make many great products for automotive aplications. you will need an adhesion promoter, and if the part is flexible, they have additives to pake the paint flexible. stop in a local body shop, alot of painters are paid by the job and usually do side work. if you are flexible enough you can leave them as filler work and usually get a good deal. also the more prep you do, the more you save.

Usually with plastics you will need to use a "barcoat" which is a flexible paint base coat. Once this has been applied then you can paint your required colour/s!
