Is it possible to adjust the spring ht on the rear shock without removing the airbox? If not, what's the easiest way to remove the airbox?

yes, use a long brass drift and hammer to loosen/tighten the jam ring, support bike on jack and turn spring by hand, should move collar as well, or use drift to turn collar.

kinda, but not in a good way. if you want to lower the rear, change the "dog bones". you can get them from MZ, or make them your self.
