electrical problem again

as discribed in a prior topic my bike's lights gone out driving by night from work to home. before the lights flipt out fore a couple minutes but never managed to find the reason. so this weekend i started out to chearch the reason mi lights did nog work.

what the f... i found it, the cable bundle to the left side handle bar hade a cable inside wich came loose!! the red/black (power) cable is goiing in and there are 3 coming out!!! they conected the wires and just put a smal clamp on it, did nog even bother to sold the parts together!! so i did it and everything looks ok .

i hope it'l keep on running fore a while!!

Lucky it didn't short out and burn your loom back! Mind you the fuse should blow first anyway, nightmare!

been working on and riding bikes for 50 years in the old days bmw had
the best electrical systems but were still a sad lot

what i am seeing in the 1980's and 1990's god help us by 2010 with the new
id in the key thing to keep us out when we mess up starting it right....

but the crooks will still just ride away on it

have you heard what's next sprayed on turn signals and tail lights
yup you hear me saying it turn signal,side marker and brake lamps that are sprayed on the body panels Sad makes me think i should keep the saxon tour
for about 10 more years
