Hi,
If you look in the 660 forum topic mz660 and yamaha 660/660 carbs
you should find a post by "cat" from Mar 7,06 with instructions.
Basically you change the main on the left to a Keihin 135,raise both
needles 1 notch and cut 2 coils off the spring in the right carb.
adjust the mixture screw to about 5-7 turns out
Chip

How long have you had your M4? I called them and they say they don't make them for the Skorpion anymore. I have a holeshot and installed their carb kit. It is too noisy and would like to keep the performance and use an M4 which is probably quieter.

I put my M4 on my BP at the beginning of this past season. It burned a hold in my air box that I need to fix and I figure I'll take that whole area apart and work the carbs at the same time. I have to look for a carb blowup.

Go to the forums Home Page.
At Board Navigation select Forum.
Under Vehicle Discussion select 660.
About ninth from the bottem of the first page of listed topics select Baghira Documentation for download.
dgunther has a PDF file shown as a "parts list" (second one availible in the list of files) When the download of that PDF file is complete open it and go to the Thumbnails then proceed to page 118
Merry Christmas!

Thanks Oldmtn! I downloaded the parts list for the carb setup and Page F13 is missing, looks like the scan accidentally includes two copies of page D13. The carb parts list for those numbered 40 through 57 is missing, must be on F13. Perhaps someone reading this thread could scan the page, since it is so valuable to armetures like me trying to mod our carbs for the M4 can installation.

Main jets should cost $4-6, depending on the shop you go to. I know for Mikuni they make several styles of main jets (small round, large round, hex). Not sure about Keihin if they make different styles. Best bet is to take the main jet into your local shop and tell them what size you need.
