Got my axel's and sliders done today, will replace coolant, wire rad cap, caulk oil plug, drain can for rad, battery and gas ? mirrors off, still haven't decided on rear tail light assembly, velco strap kickstand(remember that one Sean) tape headlight or remove, tape handguard blinkers and try to change oil.... and pray I don't crash on my already screwed up ribs..... This could be the first time in the states two MZ Baggy/Panther are at one race event _________________ "Brian" 2003 MZ Baghira |

Not to blow smoke up skirts....but... I think the lowered version will do "very well" especially with a person who is fast and has had alot of time on that bike....hmmmm that would be Phlat !!! The bike handles very well for a brute, well balanced, my taller version has a light front end, I will drop my forks even further so I can at least hang on the 70 mph sweepers.... I would be happy not to crash and place at least in the middle of the pack....Sean should be in the top 5 maybe three....This is my first race of any kind so I'm kinda goin with my gut feeling......If I like racing I will prepare my KX 500 for SM racing........ _________________ "Brian" 2003 MZ Baghira |

Keith definitely going unless a storm hits.... Only spectating though. Last night did my first ( litttle) bit of off road. Impressed by the bikes handling albeit slowly, not so impressed with my own peformance.. Might have to do a track day soon or at least get the MOD to let me use the Longmoor railway line for practice ( 8 miles of hard pack and no other traffic....) |

Wll I went to the Supermoto race today and had a good spot to marshal the event. Met Gedge and another MZ rider who had turned up to watch.
I was very impressed with one of the bikes racing, A much modified Baghira.
It had different carbs, a bigger piston, high lift cams and an aluminium rear sub frame. It also had a cute 2 into 2 exhaust system. Hopefully some one got a piture of it. I spoke to the mechanic looking after the bike and he reckoned that the engine was producing about 65 rear wheel brake horsepower.
Both the owner and mechanic work for Slipstream tuning.

WANNA GO TO CANBY, I'm goin, I think I could talk Curt into goin, with his truck...... _________________ "Brian" 2003 MZ Baghira |
