Looks good. Ive seen several now that have been done, and its only a matter of time and money before I set to on mine....

did you trim the side panels? they look way shorter....

good job! I really like the headlight..

yes the side pannels were trimmed back a good bit to make the front end look smaller

do they flex alot without that extra mount point?

no they don't flex about to much as they are mounted pretty strongly plus the plastics pretty thick so should last for gaes even if it did move around a bit

The mod looks good and I have seen 3 bikes done now. One thing worries me though. With the front mounts removed, the mounds left are brass inserts in teh gas tank. If you were real unlucky one of these mounts could be pulled out, causing fuel to be released all over the rider and a hot engine.

I still have the front mounts in mine, just cut off the loop that goes to the speedo support.
