Hey Garf,
Stupid question, but if the mags are only on your side of the pond, can you hook up some brothers on this side? I would love to see it in full color

For you fella's over the other side of the pond / overseas you can probably order the mags off www.themagazineman.co.uk . Once I find out who has featured the bike I will let you know the titles / issues.
Cheers

Uahh.....whatīs THAT!? ....Poor Baghi.....looks totaly ugly, like if you mix a crashed Buell Ulysses + Yamaha Airox Scooter......right now Iīm feeling sick....poor little Baghi....
There is some nice stuff mounted at the bike, but thatīs not important if it looks like this "something"....with a normal headlight and a MX like backframe itīs cool....otherwise....

I mean, wonkyīs bike is awesome if you look at it from the technical sight. Slipstream is great!
Maybe I donīt like the design because it looks like a half streetfighter.
But at least, nice work wonky!!! ...apart from the design

Following this thread, the results of Marks work and the last picture on Slipstreams site, the shot directly of its profile. This project in my opinion looks rightious!
My opinion of CMs MZ, inspiring as well.
My last comment pertaining to positive imput about this thread was sarcasm.
Hope to get mine as sorted out...

Yeah, I can see where CM is coming from regarding the styling as the bike certainly does blur the lines a bit between streetfighter and supermoto but I gotta say that overall I love it.
My personal two pennys worth, as I have pointed out to Mark, is I am not too keen on the twin spotlght setup BUT unlike me he really enjoys blasting around at night so the additional lighting was more of a functional design decision.
At the end of the day the bike was built to suit his own personal vision, and the very fact that it is a personal aesthetic is bound to mean that the styling wont appeal to everybody. However, regardless of whether you like the styling or not you have got to acknowledge the effort and engineering that has gone into creating it.
The only styling opinions which I think should be mandatory under international law is the acknowledgement that the Citroen DS is the most beautiful car ever built and the 2CV is the second (dont laugh)........and I'm quite fond of my Baggy too.

Anybody who is interested in this project bike will be able to read about it in STREETFIGHTER magazine. Apparently they tested/ reviewed the bike yesterday so I suppose it should be in the mag over the next month or so. I am also told that this mag is available in the U.S.A.
Cheers

New images which Wonky has asked me to post along with the following message. I met the guy yesterday for the first time and he is straight up and so enthusiastic about the MZ. All off what follows is in its infancy but IS coming.
Message as follows:This might be a bit premature but after some amazing response about the STMZ the following kit should be available in the next couple of months:
1- Replica bodywork including Seat Unit, Tank Panels, Nose Fairing & Front Fender in GRP (Any colour or in gelcoat ready for paint) and possibly Carbon Fibre (PRICE WILL BE ANNOUNCED ONCE I HAVE ESTABLISHED INTEREST AND MANUFACTURE COSTS!)
2- Seat Unit supplied in various covering and colour options.
3- Possible NEW upside down forks and yolks.
4- Carbon Fibre undertray
5- Replica 2into2 Exhaust sytem
6- Aluminium Rear Subframe & Front Subframe for STMZ bodykit fitment!
7- Custom Slipstream MZ Gelcoat badges
8- FULL Slipstream STMZ Replica custom service including full rebuild, engine tune , Exhausts and all custom parts and paintwork to your design specification!
9- Brake upgrades
All subframes and bodykits will be available for distribution worldwide and are supplied with an authenticated STMZ certificate and KIT number!
We have come a long way and due to media, MZ dealer and public interest in the bikes we have had some great companies step forward to offer manufacturing services!
All parts are licensed to Slipstream ONLY! I hope this opens some personal customisation opportunities for anyone interested in building a replica for themselves. As there hasn't been any parts available for our machines i hope you can appreciate what this project has now led to!
Thanks for everyones support and kind words. I apologise for the secrecy with images but i have kept my word with certain sponsors and it has now paid off!
