I have to repair my roadrashed 04 Baggy

Does anyone have ideas on a brand of mirrors that:
handle/dampen vibration well
are rectangular preferably or oval
fold down or something for good off road use?

Also I have some damaged plastic and plan to epoxy glue sand and paint it. Does anyone know what to get for primer and paint to blend well and stick to 04 black panther painted polypropylene? My headlight shroud and eventually front fender are candidates.

Peace and thanks to you guys who really know these bikes in advance. Im new to MZ Bikes and this forum has been so great to find!

Plastic welding is better than glue if you can find someone that has the kit. The finish looks much better and won't crack again with the vibration. Have you tried to buy new plastics? Most of the prices quoted in the UK are really cheap and probably make a repair hardly worth the effort.
If you want to re-paint you wil need an etch primer to get the paint to stick..

Keith is correct. By the time you fix a fender , parts and your labor , it that fender turns out to be $ 75 to $ 80.00

Mirro's you can pick up $ 25 to $ 30 a pair.

Fenders you can get from $ 25.to $40 dollars.

www.acerbis.com makes a black supermototard for $ 28

part# 16803305 black. They also make some other.

Damaged headlight , this is the perfect time to get a acerbis Diamond or Cyclops kit .

this is the time you can really customize your bike.

The cyclops looks very attractive now. Has anyone mounted one in front of the factory nerf bar? I dont want to disregard the factory speedo and install the cyclops similar to Phlat's setup. What is the difference between the acerbis chromie and the basic cyclops? Thanks for the info on the Acerbis motard front fender. It looks very much like the MZ one actually. Id like to add a set of radiator guards also, anyone know of a brand that fits?

KTM LC4 radiator guards fit straight on . In UK they are £6 each plus another couple of quid for the fitting rubbers. Fitted mine last week, 5 minute job and worth every penny if they save one of the rads from a stone...

Did these gaurds fit with the standard tubing for the headlight etc?

Yep bolted straight on the rad is made by KTM and is identical to the LC4. They have 2 lugs on the inside and have 2 bolts on the outside . you just lift them in and secure... . The top bolt is just reachable without removing the side panel. I got mine from trevor Popes in Gosport, they keep them in stock.

Make sure to get the guards for the "640" adventurer LC4 motor, the other LC4's are smaller and won't fit. Available in black or white. You also need the 4 clips and 4 bolts to mount them. Total cost here in the States was $51 USD. There is a picture of my bike equiped with them somewhere on this site......
