Hi, I need new brake hoses for my Baggy Black panther (HR model)

The (caliper end) hose fittings are heavily corroded
and the bike has just failed it's 1st mot.

Anyone know where I can get some Goodridge or similar (Stainless steel).

I live in the UK, near Leeds

Thanks

you can buy all the parts you need to build them yourself, the fittings are really easy to assemble onto the hose, just did full braided lines on my MK1 Sierra (XR4TI) for about $120

Earls.com. probably similar outfit in the UK. pick up a Race car mag and browse the adverts.

Cheers

I've managed to get it sorted.
Anyone else have a problem with corrosion?

Yeah,

Me got dodgy brake hoses. I removed my rear hose a few months ago, and cleaned up the ends with a wire brush wheel in a battery drill. then sprayed with pound shop aerosol. seems to look o.k for the moment, did'nt see the point in shelling out for new hoses when the hose is o.k.

Pity mz did'nt take the trouble to fit stainless ends to hoses. Alternaitvely get some new ends and get them swaged on. wouldnt cost more than a few quid. bare in mind though that hose may be shorter if you take this route. Also while your at it. change the banjo bolts for stainless steel.

cheers Al
