SOLD- 2001 Baghira Street Moto -SOLD

I don’t really want to sell this bike, but my financial situation could benefit significantly from selling it or trading down.

The details:
2001 MZ Black Panther AKA Baghira Street Moto (black in color), full height
Yamaha 660 liquid cooled five valve single
Grimeca Brakes, WP shock, Marzocchi Fully Adjustable forks, Factory 17” wheels
Acerbis supermoto front fender and handgaurds (uniko?)
13,700 Kilometers = 8,500 miles plus approximately 1,500 miles while gauge cluster was removed (have all gas receipts, calculated using average gas mileage).

Rear fender cleaned up, LED brake light

The bad:
No mirrors, turn signals, funky bars around headlight, has stock exhaust

The previous owner had removed the stock headlight and gauge cluster and substituted a KTM number plate with a little fog light in it. It looked great, but sucked for riding at night so I went back to the stock setup.

It has been down at least twice on the left side, nothing serious though. The first time was before I got it and I didn’t really notice till I got it home. There is some scuffing on the engine cover, nothing deep at all and the side cover appears to have cracked and been repaired. It’s covered up by a white number panel though and you’d never notice unless you look close, I didn’t anyway. The second time was with me at helm. I had less than 300 miles of seat time and was riding with some guys significantly faster than me on roads I’d never been on. I put it down gently in the ditch, no contact with the pavement. Just had to line the handlebars back up, but it did scuff up the front fender and plastics a little.

I’m looking for $2,800 obo -or- trade down for a small bore street legal bike plus cash. I’m thinking KLR 250, Ninja 250/500, etc. 60 mpg or better would be nice.

Located in Dayton, Ohio. I don’t want to ship, but would drive up to a few hours to meet half-way.

Sure did. I got some interest from supermotojunkie and advrider, but the guy that bought it was looking specifically for an MZ and found it here.
