could I talk you into chopping your back frame and moving your rear light up beyond flush of the back fender ??? see baggy picts and you will see..... I like the tall version they look bitchin, but they do not handle any where near like a lowered version......I'll post picts with my new Ohlins and longer dog bones......Oh yea I'm gonna buy a Behr 5" rear rim.....
Its nice to see a sport tire with no Chicken strips.........My front is past the bead but my back tire has a 1/8" stip ??? hence the future 5" rear wheel....you've got Mich's !?

Hey Brian, for grip try Avon Pro extreme wets. They are brill and are a bit wider tham other tyres, not sure about wear rate yet on the baggy. I will keep you informed, as I hope its better than teh 750 miles a friend gets from his tuned WR450 Yam. Mind you he does do track days in that milage as well. I hope to better 1000 miles. Also heard that Maxxis Goldspeeds in the silver compound affoer equivelent grip with better milage.
I also have a set of Avon Distanza's to try out later and will let everone know what they are like.
So far I have tried the following tyres
Perelli MT60's. Standard tyres that I quite liked but teh second rear only lasted for 1900 miles
Koncorde remoulds real cheap (£45 per pair for cosmetic seconds). Good grip with the rear lasting 2500 miles, ok in the wet to.

hello
man i dont like those uk license plates there tooooo BIG
if i had one on the RT125 i would be pulling big air with the front wheel
the only thing they have going for them is they tell what year the bike is
see mine to left its the avatar in the header 80x46 pix just doesnt show
good detail
thats the saxon tour plate the rt125 says OLDBMW it was on my r51/3
and i dont have any bmw's running and if i give it up i will never get it back so its on the rt till i get a bmw running next summer i hope

Common Gedge, where did ou get the new rear light from and is there any chance you can show how you have mounted it and the rear indicators.

Yea I know the Avons well but have never tried them on my Baggy.... I have a set of Distanzias( SM version not Dual purpose ones) for my KX I've heard great things about them too.......Mr Cross it appears that you are the tire Guru...... What tire pressures are you finding work the best.... I like 25 psi front and 26 psi rear..........

Yup I like the tail light too, looks like it could adapt to the stock rear mud guard well
I find the British offerings (my rear blinkers) are the best.... very good quality.... the Lock hart Phillips lasted 3 months for me

The LED is from MOTRAX, cost £24 ( medium size) . Very bright running light and super bright brakelight... Looks good in the dark ( bit like me ). The whole lot is mounted on a UFO universal rear plate holder which has a recess to mount the indicators ( that was about 20 quid as well).
I agree re the horrible , huge Number plate. Its a real bone of contention inthe UK with most bikers risking a fine for having a small one ( more inuendo pleeeeaasse). sadly as an upholder of the dreaded law , I have to stick with the nasty big bugger...
Get your questions in quick as I am just off to gran canaria , and anything after 2200 GMT will have to wait a fortnight

Keith It should fit the stock mudguard , but the wires are 'offset' so you would have to drill a new hole . The mounting bolts are a bit flimsy, but otherwise works well and draws less power? or so I am told...

Brian I am currently running 1.8 bar front and 2 bar rear. But I am thinking of dropping them a bit to try it. Avaon wets are real good, rode home on Thursday night in heavy rain (½ in 15 mins) without a twitch.

Just thought I'd post a picture of my pipe,, this was cobbled together after my BSM carbon pipe finally melted on a trip to Assen, so this is the front half of the BSM, with a generic silencer 'welded on'
