I currently race supermoto here in CA. on an 04 Yam. wr450 and am quickly learning that its more about the almighty dollar and who can make their bike the fastest more than just being a good rider. I'm thinking of trying mini-moto and have noticed the bike of choice is the Honda crf150 since there is a 159cc limit. There is not much info on the MZ but the fact that it supposedly does 70mph and already has 17" wheels and over-size front rotor is very appealing! Plus its DIFFERENT! My 9yr. old son wants to get into it too and it might bring back more of the FUN factor doing mini-moto. Any info I can get regarding the sm125 would be appreciated. |

Dave, you seem to be the unoficial spokesperson for the RT! Is there anything I need to know about this little bike? Where can I get oil filters? Any quirks you know of or modifications you recomend? My wife and I just picked one up for her, although I'm sure I'll be riding it as much as she will. Do you know if it can be lowered? Thanks, Chris Hunsicker |

Thanks for the replies. Yes, I got an owner's manual. My biggest problem really is that I need to figure out how to lower it so my wife will be more comfortable riding it. We can drop the fork tubes, and she can remove some of the foam in the seat, but we'd really like to figure out a way to lower the rear. Unlike the Skorpion, there are no dog bones to lengthen. It's been suggested to fabricate a bracket on the swingarm, or checking into a Hagon shock.
Does anyone have any idea how many 125s there are in the US?
