If you want to see what the new Yam 660 looks like check out the Yamaha UK web site.
Exhuast is low, like below the frame and then the mufflers (two of them) go to high level. Also it is a four valve two port head.

: Hello there, i have read your comments on the demise of the bagira range of bikes. In the uk the yamaha supermoto retails for a 1000£ more than the mz . What concerns me is that tommorow wed3/11/04 i take delivary of a new bagira s/m. The dealer has know knowledge of the deletion of the range and has supplies on order for new bikes. am i correct in assuming that the bagira is still supplied to the uk, after all who would purchase an obsolete bike, thanks in anticipation. cheers jim.

Jim,

Don't worry. the baggy has new life in the United States and is here to stay world wide. (Some people in this chat room think they know what there talking about ) Since John Stoddart beame GM of MZ N.A. , they have sold more 660 in the last 3 months than they sold in the last 3 years. Go ahead and tear up the road, they make more

Just a question. Where are you getting your numbers? I'm curious. Obviously MZ is a very niche player in the US, but it'd be interesting to see how they're doing now compared to a couple of years back.

Mr. Stoddart is really putting a big push on the baggy. He has 5 baggy's out at mag's right now. We beleive it's the best" bang for the buck " with out having to spend 15 to 20 g's. Wait till the new 125's come back into the states. Can you say " Bigger cc's " Twisted Evil

"Bigger ccs?" That will be interesting. We don't get the RT125 out here in CA. Nor one of the 125SX/SM combo (I think the SM). It'd be fun to have something like the RT125 available for a cheap commuter that's a little more up-to-date than some of the Japanese 125s that seem to be based on tech from back in the jurrassic.

i have about 9000 miles on my rt125 and love it
but it would have been spot on as a 250 or 400

it is one sweet handling bike till the oem tires get thin
and there a bit weird when its real cold like 10 below zero F
by the way the oem tires did a good job all round and should
make it to 10,000 miles or more before there blona skins
ar dave

bigger engine in the rt125 chassis =

but speed limit it to about 80mph its too lite to be doing much
over 70 mph
unless ur a speed nut
