Gary

On the UK models of the LED the lower section is clear and when the side light is on, it shines white light down on the number plate.. it doesnt have seperate lighting wiring.. Just make sure you didnt put it on upside down so that it lights up inside the rear fender Very Happy

Anybody in the UK that can sell me a couple of those Motrax LED taillights? we can't gettem here except in all clear (with red LED). Clear stoplamp lenses don't appeal to me.

Cant create the link, but a guy had one of the units you want for sale on ebay a while ago. It might be worth trying to contact him. The item number was 7928432663.

Update, try item number 7930823603. Light is available with either red or clear lens.

BTW with the one currently connected, have you got it wired right. Doe the numberplate light work with the brake light. You may have the tail light/brake light connections reversed.

I am not sure what you have done.. There are only 3 wires IIRC. 1 Sidelight , 2 brake light and 3 earth....
The Red lEDs glow pretty brght on side lights and then reallly bright when you brake. Part of the lens cover is clear and the leds above this are white, they shine onto the number plate......hope this helps Very Happy
