The frame on my Sport is a little marked on the left hand frame rail, so have considered turning it to black. This will complement the (little) polished alloy on it.
Now I could get it painted, but powder (or nylon?) coating seems more sensible-it will be more durable finish, and seems to offer a much glossier colour.
Also considering getting the wheels done too, as I cannot stand the "primer" grey colour, although they are very easy to keep clean, and the finish is faultless. Can the wheels be coated without any problems (spoked rims are easy to do-cast wheels I do not know about). The Cup Replica has black wheels and looks good (not that I have ever seen one in the flesh).
So, can anyone recommend a powdercoating company who would be able to do this, and what the rough cost would be? I'd have to strip the bike if I paint it, so I have that to contend with if I paint it or coat it. _________________ 2004 Baghira
