Brian and I swapped full height suspension for HR today, here are my observations for you other guys that want to do the same.

the rear shock body is the same, stroke is shorter, I would bet there is a spacer inside that can be removed to make the shock full height,

the dogbones are the same.

the front fork internals are different, cannot make them full height, But...

the 45mm Marzocchi Magnum was used on KTM's in the mid 90's, until they switchen to WP forks. they can be had on e-bay for cheap.

see here:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4531813924

$150 after shipping for the forks, bolt in. repair shock and have serviced $100-150. lengthen kick stand. you are done.

id like to get a reduced height kickstand. I have the standard height stand. I lowered my bike about 2 inches with the dogbones and would like to swap kickstands.

anyone?

I'll swap your kickstand...and forks if you want to match the height in the front and get your geometry more correct. I'll even throw a few bucks your way because the full height forks are adjustable and the lower ones arent. now that I have a good chance to 'fix' the shock with an internal mod, this would put me up to full height all around

what do ya think?
