Baghira more supermoto style tyres

Is it possible to get some more sporty looking tyres on this bike as I really like the lower profile ones like on something like the DRZ400SM that Im also looking at.

See what I mean by the tyres? Also the Duke ones look nice maybe could get those wheels and/or tyres on the baggy?

Hi Tom, i bought a 2004 baghira street moto, the tyres it came with,?? pirellis i think the rear was shot after 2000 miles, that includes running it in,and the fact that i am classed as a disabled rider, I Replaced tham with Avon Azuru sport to date bike has done 6000 miles and handles brilliantly and the tyres are still good, On the Suzuki DRS 400, Iowned a 400z it was a great bike but the tank range on the road is 70 miles,and is a pain in the arse, The Baghira is a more allround bike,but at a disadvantage of road due to it weight, or the suzukis lack of it. I did find an American outfit which made a 14 litre tank in factory colours.wich is a help, Cheers and safe miles, Jim.

Check out any of the major tyre makers lists for the correct size tyres. The tyres shown on teh KTM photos can be used on teh baggi street moto and panther models.
For a real neat look, tryAvon Pro extreme rain tyres. Some rider I know also use proper race wets or even cut slicks on teh road, but teh police really dont like them if they catch you.

any 120-17 front and 160-17 rear will fit your bike. very popular size tire, 100's to choose from.

Is it true that the more popular sport tires (Michelin Pilot Powers, Pirelli Diablo Corsas, etc.) will get ragged all to hell extremely quickly on the Baggie (or any single for that matter) due to the power pulses?

I love those tires for their stickiness, but is there a tire that is nearly as sticky that will last longer?

I changed both the origional tyres after about 3500 Miles (both badly worn at the edges)
Since fitting these Conti Attack tyres I've done about 500 Miles or so.
I went for these because they are supposed to last a bit longer, (they seem pretty good up to now).

There seems to be less rolling resistance. You can also flick it from side to side much faster. I haven't found there cornering limit yet!

Felt a bit funny at 1st, (I liked the slow laid back handling) but I now find these much better

I only use the bike on the road (commuting and playing at weekends)
They would be hopeless off road, No idea about track.

They cost about £160 for both fitted (pleased so far).

Also try Avon Distanzs,got 3500 miles out of a rear.
2500 out of originals and the distanzs are a lot better IMHO. The size that fits the baggi is designed for motards.
Avon pro extremes are better,but rear didnt even make 1000 miles.

Can you put even MORE sporty tires on it, like a lot of the motards where the wall to the tire bit is really sharp?
