I've been out of touch for a couple of months, but I just surfed over to the MZ North America website and saw this:
http://www.motorradna.com/models/supermoto/baghiraBP.html
Don't tell me that MZ has finally come to their senses about the ugly, boat-anchor-like SPAM Can exhaust.
That thing actually looks great. What a novel concept: an integrated looking can.
Anyone know the details on that can? I assume that, if they're putting it on stock, I'll be able to order one from them (if it's a good deal and comparable to the M4 or BSM, of course). _________________ MSW

Hoo-wee! That's better. And just in the nick of time. I wrote to the BSM importer for the UK today to inquire about a Vampire. Let's hope the pictured unit, if available, is not priced too high. |

I got my Black Panther a week and a half ago.
It's from a new production run just comlpeted at the factory (or so I was told)
I still came with the Mr Ugly pipe
So you might have to wait a bit before they come on bikes in the UK. _________________ 668 - The neighbour of the beast |

USD forks? I think that's the compulsory US spec side reflector. _________________ 668 - The neighbour of the beast |

They finally responded to my e-mail with what we already knew was the case (that it's an aftermarket exhaust in the pic), but I thought I'd post the e-mail they sent, as it contains a mention of this forum, which I think is very cool:
Hi Michael,
The picture on our webpage is not correct:
First of it is not a Black Panther, it’s a Baghira Enduro with Street Moto tires on and second the pipe is a BSM prototype. (The reason why I know that: It’s my privat Bike!!!)
At the moment you can’t buy pipes from us!!
You should go to www.mzriders.com, there is a whole section/ forum about pipes!!!
