Rear Sprocket

Does anyone know the part number for the Rear sprocket.on a Baggy?

If not the part number , what bike does the hub originate from ?.I want to go larger ( any recommendations? I am already down1 at the front)............TIA

OEM part # is 9014286000 - 43 tooth sprocket. The only MZ alternative is a 45 tooth sprocket (in stock) #9014285000, retail is $56.76.

I'm currently checking the sprocket specifications against another manufacturers models and will post any info; if I find a match!

it is the hub from a 93 spec XT600ee. the sprocket carrier is $110 at yamaha, cush drive rubbers are $6.00 or so each. any sprocket for that year bike will work

Cheers for the info.. I was thinking of gopng up to a 47t.. I think they list one under the xt600..



$56 for a sprocket. .. I only paid £20 for a talon rear for my Gasgas so maybe not everything in the US is cheaper after all

nothing is cheap over here any more the taxes on my postage stamp
size house (over 100 years old and needs rebuilt) and lot have more than doubled in the last 12years
as has most every thing else
except the pay check

here is a spot check a bottle of Coke soda pop here in parkersburg wv

20 fluid oz or 592 ml is $ 1.37 including sales tax
2years ago it was $1.05 including tax

Sounds ominous.. I think the UK is also starting to slow down so maybe things will get worse over here.. FWIW the cost of the coke is till just about cheaper than most shops in the UK

Just got back from a trip to Dallas and everthing is cheaper in the USA than here. Stayed with a friend in his recently purchased 5 bed house, $190,ooo. A similar house in the UK would be £500,000+, thats about $900,000. Gas was $2.12 per US gallon (4 litres), UK price £0.89 per litre, thats over $6 per US gallon.
Electronic items, cars, bikes, food, etc are all lots cheaper in the USA. I looked and couldent find anything that was dearer in the USA than the UK. Even as diverse asTriumph motor cycles, Reebok Trainers and Dr Martin Boots are cheaper in the USA and they are all supposadly british made
As for other bikes, a GL1800 Goldwing is about $23,000, in the UK £17000, thats nearly $31,000.

Only thing that was worse was the wages paid, probablly by about 30% and hours worked appeared to be longer.

How much vacation do large european companies give to there employees? I have started a dialogue with my employer about the prospects of receiving a little more vacation, so I can go on a loong motorcycle trip. Over here it is typical for a large employer to give 3weeks after 5 years service, 4 weeks after 10 years, and 5 weeks after 20 years.

My employer, the National Health Service gives 27 days annual leave, rising to 32 days after, I think 10 years service. There is also the option to buy extra leave giving up to a maximum of 40 days.
I work a 37½ hour week, monday to friday. Any extra hours are paid at time and a half, or I can take the time off instead of payment.

Afam produce anodised alloy sprockets, and you can get them next day delivery through B&C.

Not sure they do a 47 though, I went the other way and fit a 42/15...

And yes it still pulls the rev limiter

I have used aluminium sprockets from Talon in the past. There reference numbers for the MZ are:

Rear TR176-45, where the 45 indicates the amount of teeth.
Front TG465-15, where the 15 indicates the number of teeth.

Be aware that they have twice sent the wrong front sprocket, so I wouldnt bother ordering one.

Also once the rear sprocket teeth wear beyound a certain amount they tend to shear off. I found this out when mine got to this limit and almost half of the teeth sheared off. The spocket didnt look to bad either.
