Hi yall, new here. Owned 05 Baghira 3 days, ridden 302.5 miles. Question is about the seat, is there an aftermarket one, that I can ride on for more than a couple hours without pain.
Thanks Brian

See here:

This was his response through PM...

"My Baghira is my favorite bike, but the seat just killed me for all-day rides. My buddy and I did a 6-day tour and we had to swap the MZ to survive. A simple gelpad was the answer, but I don't like the mushy feel of them. So I had the seat made.

It is up to the all-day rides. Only thing is, it sort of plants you. One of the fun things about the MZ is ripping the back roads and that means moving around a lot on tha saddle. The new seat isn't as good for that, but it's not bad.

If you have Bill do your seat, make sure he leaves enough overhang material at the back end to fill the void as the original does. Also, when you get the seat, you will have to slot the front fastener holes on the seat base to make the seat fit. The new material thickens the seat base and the forward holes won't match up. Slotting them a fraction makes life a lot easier.

You should have fun on your MZ. I have 12k miles on mine. I didn't even license my Ducati this season...I ride the MZ and a KTM 950."

Hope that helps, and welcome. Very Happy
