I am totally gassed....my Trinity Max 686 has come in waaaay early.....only took a week....went on vacation to Jamaica and to my suprise David from Trinity put a rush on the job to see what their Nastiest 686 is like in a street application....they really want to get into modding out MZ's.....here are the pics of the parts and notice the custom billet aluminum intake for the carbs....it places the twin 35mm FCR's down and tilted forward so they have clearance for install----no mods necessary on this one....just bolt on.....will have to run minimum of 110 Octane race gas but the 80+ hp will be worth it....if anyone wants to see the bottom of the head to see how the big valves look and the top of the piston to see the requied machiningfor the big valve clearancing I will take other pics on request....the only thing that couldn't be found was a rev. box/hi-perf. CDI that would work on the MZ Crying or Very sad ....the Yamaha Raptor Dyna Ignition will not work...Does anyone know where to get an MZ Racing CDI??? I am installing the parts this weekend and I will let everyone know how it is Twisted Evil

the euro spec TDM rev box has a higher rev limit.
also, tunebike.de has an exchange program, and he re-programs your CDI.

can't wait to hear a report on this mod!!!

Did you get everything bolted up this weekend? How did it run? I have the same carbs on my bike. I'm curious as to what main jet is working for you. I would also like to see some close up photos of the carb installation, if you got the time. Thanks

I checked out the Trinity racing website. They have a jetting chart for every engine set up they sell. Very helpful in determining which way I have to go.
