If I may interject here, and say one word: Scotoiler.

10,000 miles with one chain adjustment, used in all weathers, but not off road (well, about 50 km in total).

Fantastic things-and fit so easily on the Baggi (the Sport is another kettle of fish though).

Jim

I have now covered just over 55.000kms and have used 3 chain and spocket sets. a scott oiler and the sprockets seem to wear out before the chains, with the exception on the original one that snapped while attempting a small wheelie Embarassed
I think its time to perlace yous if you have run out off adjustment, providing the chain is of the correct length, 116 links for teh Baghira with standard sprockets.

Keith

I am on my 3rd chain at 12,000 miles, I only use Renthall chains, o-ring.

big singles are real hard on chains, I dont want to break one again.

If you go to the chain man. site, they usually give a maximum stretch length for the links. once it is exceeded, the risk of breakage is great.
