|
|
well my tank started slowly leaking gas on my 2005 SM, so i took it in to the dealer and the tank is defective. there is some casting issues with the plastic on the inside. The tanks are made by Acerbis, so it may be an issue in more than my bike. Anyone else hear anything about this? still under warrenty but no baggy for a week or 2 and with these gas prices bummer!! back to my V8 : ( |

I also have a 2005 model (from the May-ish production run). Have had a good look round it and can see no problems. Where was is leaking from?
Tried waving a cig lighter round the filler cap but cannot see any irregularities inside.
Cheers,
Stew. _________________ 668 - The neighbour of the beast |
