|
|
Hello guys,
today, i woke up in the morning and took out the top end...and boy was there a lot of carbon haha...cleaned everything up...i even took the piston off..
but then i tried rocking the connecting rod sideways, and the thing moved(rocked)...but the crank didn't move,though...
is it suppose to be like this?? could it be that my bearing's out??what gives?
i have almost 60k KM on my odometer...
cheers. _________________

jb the thing will be loose but should do 50,000 miles
there is .5 mm side to side
but no spec for up and down
put it back together and dont run it so hard
your the only person i ever heard of with that kind of miles on a
125cc bike i wore out a set of oem tires and no shops had any
they usually junk the street bike here before they ware out the tires
the board will not let me post shop book page _________________ Dave 2002 MZ RT125+95 Saxon Tour in WV USA "I like the road less traveled if it's PAVED!."

we call it "THE CAR WARS" here in wv also NIGHTMARE ON WHEELS

From what i have seen so far of the RT125 i have ..
i think 50,000 miles is possible with one of these motors
and 100,000 a real possible goal
if you are not hard on things and feed it lots of oil and filters
they only thing i have had that is of consern is the weak sprag clutch
on the starter system
corrision in the electrical connectors
and inspect the side stand mount on the frame
as some of these have broke loose from the frame
some 2002 models had bad vinyl on the seats
one email said waterpump replaced but very high miles rider
keep a close eye on the water hoses and coolent dont over heat it
i will probbily donate mine to the ama museum in ohio if it goes 50,000 miles for me thats about 2016 and age 71 _________________ Dave 2002 MZ RT125+95 Saxon Tour in WV USA "I like the road less traveled if it's PAVED!."
