Upswept exhausts are not too difficult - u just need a grinder and a steady hand!

I think they look the best / fit the best / the cone entrance into the can is good, but now 'web wisdom' (although I'm not sure if it applies only to the BSM Future or to the Vampire as well) says they lower the midrange performance Shocked and only work properly with 'the jetting kit'. (I suppose that means the tunebike.de kit.)

That kit, with the diaphragm spacer, and the translations I've read - something I wanted to ask - surely the diaphragm spacer is only useful when the diaphragm is worn/un-elastic from the alcohol fuel and it would be better to just replace the diaphragm?

Havn't tried any carb mods as my dealer reckoned the fueling should be ok.The plug is burning nice but i want to get her on a dyno just to be sure. Any idea what a Baggie puts out at the wheel?~in BHP & lb/ft as PS means PlayStation in this house,, but if SONY ever did build a bike.... Rolling Eyes

I put my Baghira on a dyno last year. I have a BSM Futre pipe, but apart from that the engine is standard. The dyno (Dynojet winpep 7, what ever that means) read 46.66 BHP and 39.62 ft lbs of torque. The engine has 30,000 + miles on it.

The BSM Future pipe isīn very well.....more the opposite, it sucks Wink Look for a Future EXTREME or an Vampire, theyīre much better.

The Skorpion from my father had 53 horses according to dyno at her clutch....but I donīt know what type the dyno was and how many horses it should be at the reartyre.... The Skorpion is a normal one, without tuningparts....

But I donīt know if BHP are the same like PS in Germany.....

I agree that there are better pipes about than the BSM Future, but it does have a better tone then the standard pipe and its a lot lighter. Also in the UK we have to have our pipes marked with an E number to prove it complies with the laws, the Vampire is not stamped, nor is the M4. You can get (and it happens regualrly here). As I work at a secure insititution, the cops are always about so I have to be careful.
Also the pipe runs fine with the original jets etc.
