does any one know which springs I need to stiffen my suspension on my reduced height baghira and is race tech and eibach the best place to get them

I had just called Race Tech last week to find some springs and valves for my Skorpions forks. The guy there didn't have anything specifically for MZ. He said the measure the springs and he'd find the correct springs for me. Check out Hyperpro USA their website lists applications for the MZ's. They have kits for both the shock and forks.

this is the rear shock for the Mastiff . will this fit the Baggie as well
but I could'nt find anything for the front forks

Race Tech are well-known for their Gold Valve improving the performance of less-than-good forks. I'd trust their springs. They will figure out a spring rate for you, but they won't be familiar with the bike (although you can give them its weight) and you'll be measuring springs that have already sagged.
Hyperpro are excellent. The guy that started the company is the guy that made White Power shocks - now called WP. He left when the company was taken over because he didn't like the corporate bs. If you've got the bux, get a Hyperpro shock. I think it will be the same length as the one on the full height bike; as far as I know the only differences are the rear suspension link arms and the front forks. I can't measure for you now because I'm at work. If you want to be absolutely sure, someone with a stand can measure theirs.

Ask MZ if the shock lengths are the same. I bet they are. Or you could check WP, see if they list shocks for both Mastiff and Baghira and if they're the same. Don't Hyperpro know? I'll measure my shock asap. The air box and rear mudguards and all are off, so I should be able to measure the shock and then check how much it extends when I lift the back. Then Hyperpro can come with the length of the Mastiff shock. But what's wrong with them? Why list a shock for the Mastiff and not the Baghira? They're lazy, they should find out. How many Mastiff owners are here compared to Baghira owners.

I will check the parts cat tonight, but I am sure the Mastiff and height reduced Baghira share the same rear shock. The normal hieght Baghira definatly has a longer rear shock than the height reduced version.

oh. ok, then Credit can't move on the shock until we can get the length of the HR shock. Once we know that, then Hyperpro or anyone can supply a suitable one. The right spring rate can be estimated according to the bike weight and Credit's weight.

I've got the parts book in front of me and it says:
Centre to centre of mounting bolts
Baghira, Bahira Street moto - 425mm
Bahira HR, Bahira SM HR, Mastiff - 412mm
Spring length in untightend position.
Non HR models 260mm HR models and Mastiff - 240mm
Spring rate 75Nm and 85Nm respectively
I have various other recommended settings if you want them.

Greate info 
Do you know for what "riderweight" this is for?
I am looking for stiffer springs both for the fork and the shock, with me and all stuff the load on my bike is aboute 120kg (265lb).

Does anyone now what rate the stock front/fork-springs are?
After rek. from WP i changed the rear spring to a 95nm(for my 120kg on the Baghira Enduro) from the stock 75nm , and now i need to change the front springs to

Do not know front spring rate, sorry. As a way of comparison. the 75Nm and 85Nm spring rates convert to 7.65 and 8.67 kilograms of force. You'll find the rates at Race Tech in Kg/mm I think.
If anybody remembers back to my front fork thread, Race Tech was not able to supply most of the correct bushings and seals for the front forks. They are Marzocchi Magnum 45mm forks. Turns out same as on like 98-99 KTM 200 according to one kid I talked too, as well as some Husky's and others. I turned to SF Moto for the fork internals and they were same price if not cheaper than Race Tech's, plus they shipped quicker.
Compared to other large singles the Baghiras are much better sprung for normal weight Brits/Germans/Aussies/Americans..
Stock KLR rear spring is like 5.1 kg/mm and stock DR650 is about 6.5 kg/mm. So I figured front must be too.
I too considered stiffening front (almost 100 kg rider) but since the bike is well balanced and I decided I'd like to keep most of the 11 inches of suspension travel I decided against stiffening it up to be like a sport bike.

I'm glad to hear people on the board talking about Race Tech parts. During the construction of my MZR road racer (see other post)I ended up with some spares. I don't know much about the Race Tech goodies, but here is what I have. A set of Cartridge Emulators in excellent condition. They came out of my 41mm TZR forks so I figure that with the correct length spacer and possibly different springs they will be a great improvement over the stock fork set up.
