hi, yesterday a corner of my cylinder cracked. the oil came out. zo i need a new one, what will this cost me? maybe someone with experians on this? what could caused this? i think to much torc on the screw but can it be something else? |

Not sure where you live, but these come up on Ebar quite a lot in the UK. Heads that fit are
Yamaha XTZ660
Yamaha SZR 660
Yamaha 660 Raptor
Ant 660 MZ

i now know what my eror whas, when you remove the cylinder you loosen 4 scres inside the aluminiuml and 4 on the outside.
those on the inside arn't all the same length this i didn't notice and switcht 2 so the srew came lose and the cilinder whas kept in place by the M6 bolt on the outside. this coused the cilinder to crack at this spot.
learning costs money they say but this is not a good way to learn!
i hope to get the bike running next week, i'l post some pics than |
