Are they Skorpion wheels? Difficult to fabricate the spacers etc.

And how does it go? Had an engine of mine bored out to take the 102mm piston, but no time to swap the engines over-and should it go in my Baggi or Sport? I will get another motor rebuilt but with a wilder cam next time!

Put the tuned motor you have in the sport. Get the hotter motor in the Baggi Smile Lots more fun to be had that way.
BTW the CCM R30 uses the same wheels, spacers needed, remove shims from rear wheel bearings to fit baggi rear spindle. Havent tried the front yet, but should be easy-ish. You will need different discs though as fixing centres on ally whels is different. CCM uses smaller rear disc and 320 front.

I'd love 3 spoke alloy wheels on my bike. I hate cleaning spokes.
Spacers easy to make, if you got the dimensions.

What shims on the wheel bearings? I mean where exactly do they go?

Pity about the different discs, that makes it even more expensive.

Cat

The CCM uses a smaller rear wheel spindle, so top hat shaped shims/sleeves (cant think of a better desription) are fitted to the bearings.

! They should have used bearings with a smaller ID.

top hat shaped shims/sleeves

bmw used some stuff like that in the 1950 and 60's on front
and rear axels will measure the spairs and post
its probely to a german spec and may save fireing up the lathe
to make if you do a wheel change

The stock spacer dimensions might be useful - to someone, some time. ...Axle diameters...if anyone ever bleeds their brakes, they could measure the bleeders, the thread size and length.

The sleeves are probablly used as standard bearings of the correct size to fit the spindle/wheel combiantion were'nt available.

Shocked oh no.....those wheels.....bäh....

If you must have wheels like them, don´t use the Skorpionstuff, they´re very heavy!

Try to get some Marchesini wheels für the Skorpion....or better, drive the original ones......

AND CLEAN YOUR MANIFOLDS!!!!!!
