German. Supposed to be good. They make sprockets for KTM. The website is good, excellent catalog, similar to the JT one.
MZ is listed, of course. Odd, though, they list different part numbers for Baghira/Mastiff and Yamaha models that, according to JT and other information, are the same.
Register to download.
Now if I could just find somewhere to buy. They do not list vendors. |

Thanks for the link. As for differnt part numbers, I thik this could be the listing I found on it was for chain and sprocket kits. The difference could be that the Yamaha uses a shorter chain (110 instead of 114 links).

No. They... - it's really confusing - they have different rear sprocket part numbers for bikes we think have the same sprocket. Different diagram images -- but if you look at them, they have the same dimensions - 145mm, I think it is - and and the same mounting holes; just different cut-outs.
I think I mentioned it to them in my first email, but now I've tried again, just asking where I can buy them.
And, hopefully, I get a response from JT sprockets next week.
I'm quite frustrated. A week is long enough to get a response. I like JT, and I like the look - or the "sound" - of ESJOT, but...
I could probably get those Supersprox /whatever, but they are expensive and I don't trust the rivets. |

thanks for posting the esjot web site
i downloaded there catalog and used it as a cross reference
to sort out what yamaha uses the same front sprocket as my
RT125 now i am off to the shop to seeeeeee if it really fits
so i dont have to ship sprockets from europe when my local Yamaha
dealer has one in stock 
thats what this web site its all about .... information you can use
locacated where you can find it .........
it appears the rear sprockets are used only on 125 mz

Have you tried the JT site? Or spend some time scratching/digging at the ESJOT site - or/and the JT site, you might find something. I doubt the sprocket is unique to the MZ. Well, it might be, I suppose, it's easy enough to get sprockets stamped, but...... try it. You've got to find something with the same hub fitting diameter and the same hole spacing and hole diameter. |

i am always looking as this little guy is hard on chains and sprockets
a upgrade to 520 chain from 420 may help
but finding the parts is a lot of work

makes them in alloy for rear but you have to cut up old 49 tooth sprocket
and make an adapter so they fit alloy wheels on my rt125
they are for sm sx with spoke wheel
after some playing i am going with 16x51 as a happy spot between
climbing hills and flat out top speed of 70mph
when i get it all sorted out i will post info for others
if you hear a lot of noise its me in the work shop .....the stepson
just dropped off 2 1974 honda ct70/dax bikes and i will be in the
shop pounding the dents out of them to make at least one a daily driver for the wife
