Some of the mz bikes made it to the usa with metric speedometers
my saxon tour for one
to convert to mph when riding look at number say your doing 90k
drop the zero and do the math as 9x6 =54
or your doing 30kph its 3x6=18
or 110k 11x6=66
its not to far off and may keep you from a speeding ticket
error is about 2 mph at 60 to 65mph
the speedometer is off more than that most times

In the UK some dealers sell a mechanical kph-mph convertoer. It connects in line witht he speedo cable and works on most Japanese bikes and should work on the MZ range as well
As for the math, the following are approximate fogures
100kph = 62mph
50 kph = 31 mph
160 kph = 100mph

I find it easiest to remember the main numbers
30 mph - 45 kph - I know its 48, but the cops around here are very speed aware!
40mph - 65kph
50mph - 80 kph
60mph - 100 kph
70mph - 110 kph
80mph - 130 kph
any more than that and its a pub story about seeing 160 on the clock!! _________________ I will only run out of ways of modify the Baggy when it weighs less that 100 kg and runs 100 bhp at the back wheel!!
