Looks like your group had a real fun time. I think we would maybe get four or five MZ's if we did some regional weekends. Not nearly as many MZ's here and a much larger country. |

RichBebe,
Your right about the MZ event. You might get 4 or 5 and anyone that walked by would not know what MZ was. But, I bet you have a Motard day at a track event with some kind of cookout. Let some KTM's, Honda, Yami's come and have some fun. 1, it would be a lot of fun and B, I would put the brand out their so that we get recognized. _________________ 2004 MZ Baghira Black Panther

One funny moment for me was when I was out riding with a lifelong buddy who has a real nice (if there is such a thing) custom Harley. We pulled up to the top of Bear Mountian and there were a bunch of bikes there. Got off and a crowd started walking towards us and he was looking real proud. They walked past his bike and right to my Mastiff checking it out.
I have been busting his chops for a while about that one |

Actually Rich.... I just posted in response(on another site) to which was the hottest looking new bike.... all the choices were 1 liter and 1/2 liter japanese scooters....I asked what about Ducati's, Aprillia's, Beemer's, Guzi's, MZ1000, KTM1000 etc.......they might not be the fastest but who wants a Yammy R6 when they are 20-30 that you will see in one day.... all these new rice rockets are about as passionate as a Honda Civic???
I ride with big Duc's, Aprillia's and Gixxers and always when we ride somewhere to have lunch or a beer it never fails someone always comes up to us and asks who owns that Silver dirt bike lookin machine with street tires.....and always comments what a great lookin bike it is........not bad for a 6 K bike parked up against a 18 K Italian machine......who Knew ???? I guess we are just very cool people with very cool bikes _________________ "Brian" 2003 MZ Baghira |

The bike in Pic 8 is a Yamaha XJR 1300 SP.... Now thats some street moto....Must weigh a ton
The pictures have some pretty interesting examples especially the Baggie with twin pipes. and the Black Panther with the big fairing......
don't think there are that many MZs on the road in the UK, let alone in one spot.... |

The one with the XJR 1300 had a Baghi before. Unfortunately he had so many problems with it that he gave it back to his dealer and bought the XJR.
It was a great weekend. |
