I am using the YZ triple trees and bearings. The Baggi neck bearings are 1 piece round roller type and have a 52mm outside diameter. The YZ neck bearings are the tapered roller and race type and also have a 52mm outside diameter. They fit like they made for it. So I am able to remove the entire Baggi fork, trees, and bearings then install the entire YZ frontend. I was surprised how easy it is. |
WHAT!?
How cool is that!? PLEASE, PLLLLEEEAAASSSSEEE post some pics, I´m only a stupid german who understand only the half of every post and to mount a usd fork at a baghi is.....it´s like having birthday and christmas on one day _________________ MZ Baghira 660 Black Panther

The forks are still at the Yamaha shop being shortened. When I get them back I will take side by side pictures. I will also take pictures of assembly.

very interested in results as i have a 1953 BMW r51/3 and it would
work nice as a daily driver but the front end is shot and hard to find parts for
i think its bearing race is 52 and i am into bike's that run good
as daily drivers not polish and shine toys ....
a disc brake up front would be great as the bike is very light in the rear and the back brake is almost useless on wet roads
